Despite what car fanatics might have you believe, you don’t need to be one to buy a car.

Sounds obvious, right? And yet, most car-buying advice talks to you like you’re a mechanic. It’s like going to a mortgage broker and having them speak to you like you’re a property developer. You’d think, “Woah buddy. I’m just trying to buy an apartment. Calm down.”

That’s where we come in. We use normal words. We break things down. We explain stuff like to smart people who just happen to not care about differential ratios. So you can choose your next car without having to Google every second word.

We’re here to help people buy a car without feeling like idiots. Because life’s too short for 20-minute video reviews full of jargon you don't understand. We explain what matters, skip what doesn’t, and make the whole thing way less painful (and maybe even a little fun).

Shana has spent her career deep in the automotive world- planning cars at an OEM, then assessing them as a reviewer. Shana really likes cars. She knows what makes a car good, what makes it sell, and what makes people tune out when you talk about it.

Alon Karp

Designer

Alon has worked across both UX and UI design and has made a career out of making complicated problems seem simple. Starting off with a career in accounting, he also understands numbers so he isn’t afraid to tell the team off for having a bit too much 'fun'.
